श्री रामचन्द्र कृपालु भजु मन
हरण भव भय दारुणम् ।
नव कंज लोचन, कंज मुख,
कर कंज, पद कंजारुणम् ॥१॥

Translation: O mind, worship the compassionate Lord Ramachandra, who removes the terrible fear of worldly existence. He has lotus-like eyes, lotus-like face, lotus-like hands, and lotus-like feet.

कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि,
नवनील-नीरद सुन्दरम् ।
पट पीत मानहुँ तडित रुचि शुचि,
नोमि जनक सुतावरम् ॥२॥

Translation: He has countless, infinite beauty, beautiful like a fresh blue cloud. Wearing yellow garments, he shines like lightning, pure and beautiful, I bow to the son of Janaka.

भजु दीनबन्धु दिनेश, दानव
दैत्य वंश निकन्दनम् ।
रघुनन्द आनन्द कन्द, कोशल
चन्द दशरथ नन्दनम् ॥३॥

Translation: Worship the friend of the poor, the sun of the day, the destroyer of the demon and asura dynasties. He is the joy of the Raghu dynasty, the moon of the Kosala kingdom, and the son of Dasharatha.

शिर मुकुट, कुंडल तिलक,
चारु उदारु अङ्ग विभूषणम् ।
आजानु भुज, शर चाप धर,
संग्राम जित खर-दूषणम् ॥४॥

Translation: He wears a crown, earrings, and tilak, with beautiful and generous ornaments on his body. His arms reach his knees, he holds arrows and bow, and he is victorious in battle over Khara and Dushana.

इति वदति तुलसीदास, शंकर
शेष मुनि मन रंजनम् ।
मम हृदय कंज निवास कुरु,
कामादि खलदल गंजनम् ॥५॥

Translation: Thus says Tulsidas, pleasing the minds of Shiva and Shesha Muni. Make my heart-lotus your abode, and destroy the army of evil desires.

मन जाहि राच्यो मिलहि सो वर,
सहज सुन्दर सांवरो ।
करुणा निधान, सुजान शील,
स्नेह जानत रावरो ॥६॥

Translation: The mind gets what it desires, naturally beautiful and dark-complexioned. He is the ocean of compassion, wise and virtuous, and knows love, O Lord.

एहि भांति गौरी असीस सुन,
सिय सहित हिय हरषित अली ।
तुलसी भवानीहि पूजी पुनि-पुनि,
मुदित मन मन्दिर चली ॥७॥

Translation: Hearing this blessing from Gauri in this way, Sita's heart was filled with joy. Tulsidas worshipped Bhavani again and again, and left with a delighted mind.

जानी गौरी अनुकूल सिय,
हिय हरषु न जाइ कहि ।
मंजुल मंगल मूल वाम,
अङ्ग फरकन लगे ॥

Translation: Knowing that Gauri was favorable to Sita, her heart was filled with joy beyond words. The auspicious left side of the body began to throb.
